A private hawk walk brings the ancient art of falconry into your own landscape. Designed for castles, estates, farms, lodges and exclusive Highland stays, this experience allows guests to enjoy a close encounter with a trained bird of prey in a setting that feels personal and atmospheric. The land itself becomes part of the experience: the trees, fields, stone walls, tracks and open ground all shape the way the hawk moves through the landscape. Your session will be led by an experienced handler and tailored to the location, weather and group. Guests will be introduced to the bird, learn how falconry works, and gain an insight into the trust and patience involved in flying a hawk. Where suitable, guests may also call the hawk to the glove and experience the extraordinary moment of a bird of prey flying directly to them. This is a calm, private and memorable experience for those wanting something more personal than a standard activity. It is well suited to castle stays, private estates, rural retreats, farm venues, weddings, family gatherings and corporate experiences. All locations are assessed before booking, and every session is guided by welfare, safety and the conditions on the day. If flying is not suitable, the experience may be adapted to offer a close-up handling and educational encounter instead. Price on enquiry This is a bespoke mobile falconry service, so prices are provided by custom quotation. The cost will depend on your location, travel distance, group size, site suitability and the type of experience required. Before confirming a booking, we will discuss your setting and requirements to make sure the location is safe and suitable for the bird, guests and handler. This allows each hawk walk to be carefully tailored to your landscape, whether it takes place at a castle, estate, farm, lodge, private garden, wedding venue or exclusive Highland retreat.
Cancellation Policy
• Full payment is required at the time of booking. • Bookings are non-refundable. • Rescheduling requires a minimum of 7 days notice and may be subject to a fee of up to 30% of the booking value. • Experiences operate in most weather conditions; however, experiences may be postponed in unsafe weather conditions. • Experiences take place within natural woodland environments with uneven terrain, mud, branches, insects, ticks, and changing weather conditions. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear must be worn. • We cannot accept responsibility for damage to clothing, footwear, vehicles, or personal belongings. • Children under 6 are unable to participate. • Non-participating guests and spectators are permitted only by prior agreement and are subject to a £40 fee per person. • Guests must follow all safety instructions provided throughout the experience. Unsafe, disruptive, aggressive, reckless, or intoxicated behaviour may result in removal from the experience without refund. • The welfare of our birds always takes priority and experiences may be adjusted or postponed where necessary. • Participation is undertaken at the guest’s own risk. • We are not responsible for cancellations or changes caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
